I was asked to guest the japaneese challengeblog "Scrap in Japan" a while ago... scrapbooking is on the go in Japan and that they even thought of asking me to guest - way cool - thank you so much!! :D
I made a sketch (see bottom of this post) and used Fancy Pants Designs gorgeous "Splendid" to create this layout of my son and his cousins monkey'ing up in front of the camera..such crazy, silly, gorgeous children...♥ As you can see you don't have to follow a sketch rigorously..I followed my sketch pretty close but chose to split the single photo into two and to add some embellishments not "mentioned" in the sketch. To me sketches are just startingpoints - guidelines you yourself chose to follow or not - as long as they at least get you started.
While all of the papers and diecuts are from "Splendid" collection, I also added this little cute filefolder from "The Daily Grind" and a transparent glitter-diecut.
I don't understand what the site is saying (but I guess I get the gist of it).. if you feel like playing along, do let me know! :) I will join the team over there to pick a winner by the end of January methinks.
Do come back tomorrow, I'll finally get to share the January-creations for Bad Girls kits (the kits will be revealed tonight!!) and I can't wait to see the creations of Emeline and Oddbjørg who will be guesting us this month!
